WONDERANCIENT

Scattered across the world stand the enigmatic Dragoliths, immense monuments dating to the age of the Drakil.

They are older than the schools, older than the kingdoms, older very nearly than memory itself.

The Age of the Drakil

The Dragoliths were raised in the age of the Drakil, when magic existed as a single indivisible power and the schools known today had not yet been conceived. Forged through arts now lost, these towering structures are covered in a language no living scholar can fully decipher.

Dormant Power

Their surfaces pulse with dormant power, and many believe they are the remnants of a forgotten magical network that once spanned entire continents. Countless Loreseekers have devoted their lives to uncovering their purpose, yet the Dragoliths guard their secrets still.

Shadowfall

Beyond the northern kingdoms lies the cursed realm of Shadowfall, where the wounds of Entropy run deepest and the darkness shed by Theril lingers upon the land like an insidious beast. Of all the places where a Dragolith stands, none is approached with more dread.

Memories in the Bones of the World

Such places endure because they are more than monuments. They are memories carved into the bones of the world itself. Long after kingdoms vanish and heroes return to the Pool, these wonders remain, silent witnesses to the endless turning of the Spire.

“We did not build the Dragoliths to be understood. We built them to outlast the understanding that raised them.”
